Hello and welcome to my website! I am Lu Sun, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at Texas A&M University.

My research interests lie within the field of International Political Economy, with a particular emphasis on the social and ideological impacts prompted by international trade. I have conducted in-depth studies on the influence of international trade in cultural products and its ensuing effects on domestic politics. My dissertation delves into the determinants of international movie flows and their political ramifications in autocratic nations. Currently on the 2023-24 AY job market.
