Hello and welcome to my website! I am Lu Sun, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at Texas A&M University. 

I specialize in International Political Economy, with a focus on the international trade of cultural products and trade networks. My research centers on understanding the social impacts of international trade of cultural products, as well as countries' strategies in navigating these influences and strengthening trade network. My dissertation explores the political causes and consequences of foreign movies in autocratic regimes.
